Endocrine Metabolic Medical Center

Endocrine Metabolic Medical Center (EMMC) is a clinic primarily for people with diabetes or diabetes complications. We provide on-going patient care utilizing all the medical resources of our clinic as well as the technical resources of the World Wide Web.

J. Joseph Prendergast, M.D., founded Endocrine Metabolic Medical Center in 1986. He intended to develop an Endocrinology practice that could reach far beyond the walls that physically contained him. With the astonishing growth of the World Wide Web, Dr. Prendergast now has his opportunity.

The Center is staffed by a team of Endocrinologists, Registered Nurses (RN), Certified Diabetes Educators (CDE) and Medical Technicians (MT) specifically trained on our style of care. Each staff member has been hand picked by Dr. Prendergast for the unique skills they offer.

At EMMC, patients are trained, empowered and encouraged to take control of their own health in cooperation with the latest technology, treatment and education.
